By renting our vehicle, you agree to the terms and conditions of “Carsfloat” listed hereunder.

1. Payment and fees

The client must pay the full amount of the rental fees prior to starting the lease
The rental amount incl. the driver fees for all the city rides
The client must pay in full the vehicle cleaning fees (5.000FCFA for each 1-6 days)
If the vehicle leaves the city and stays out of the city overnight, the client must pay an extra 10.000FCFA/day directly to the driver for its hotel accommodation and food

3. Permitted driver

Each “Carsfloat” vehicle will be provided with a company driver referred to as “the permitted driver”
Only the permitted driver can drive and operate the vehicle. This is referred to as the “Driver rule”

4. Rental duration

The vehicle can be operated within and out of the city
The client will have access to vehicle during the rental period if there is no violation of the conditions
The vehicle will be available daily from 7:00am – 08:00pm during the rental period – Any additional hours beyond the daily allowed hours will be charged. Nevertheless, the client must understand that the driver has its personal engagements prior or beyond the rental hours and may not be available
The vehicle must be returned before 08:00pm the last day of the rental period – Failure to meet this requirement will result in an extra day full charges – Fees will be deducted from the security deposit

5. Operation of the vehicle without the assigned driver

The client is not allowed to drive the vehicle at any time – Failure to follow this requirement will result in an immediate termination of the lease agreement and the full amount of the rental payment will be charged
The client cannot provide its own driver referred to as (“Third party driver”) – This includes any qualified driver, friends, family members or whoever
The vehicle cannot be driven and operated by any “third-party driver” at any time
If the client himself or any “third party driver” violate the “Driver-Rule” and causes any damages to the vehicle, the client will be fully responsible to pay the full amount of the repairs in addition to the rental payment previous received

6. Responsibility of the client

The client must pay any Toll fees incurred during his/her travels
The client must add gasoline as needed for his/her rides
The client must report any wrongdoing of the driver
The client must respect the driver at anytime
The client must keep the vehicle clean and is responsible to clean the vehicle when he deems necessary beyond “the cleaning agreement”
The client must wear a seatbelt at any time when the vehicle is moving

7. Cancellation

The client can cancel the reservation for free up to 72 hours before the start of the rental period
Any cancellation within 72hours of the start of the rental will result in a cancellation fee of 20% of the total rental amount
The client can cancel the reservation during the rental period. The client will be charged an extra day and there will be no refund for any extra gasoline and or cleaning fees

8. Extension

The client can extend the rental period of the current vehicle, but he/she must check the vehicle availability
n case of extension, there is no guarantee that the previous provided vehicle rates will be available – The client may be charged current market rates in case of an extension

Limitation of Liabilities

In no event shall Carsfloat be liable to the Client for any damages, injuries, theft, or any losses incurred by the client, or any third parties, additional passengers, friends, family or whoever is invited inside the vehicle by the clients
The client acknowledges and agree that Carsfloat will not be liable for any losses or damages, whether indirect, incidental, special, or consequential, irrespective of whether the client has been advised or otherwise might have anticipated the possibility of such loss or damage.
